Yet another impressive performance from Taeyang. The set was incredible and all the fan chants added so much energy to it all. I guess YB is letting his fans cheer him on now? lol.
And I for one was happy to see SBS capture the “crawl” in the choreography. Does anyone else find that part particularly hot?

lol the cameramen have tough jobs. so far it seems that the choreography is so different and unique that they have trouble capturing taeyang. they dont know what to film. haha a lil messy camera work especially at the end when they kept zooming in on tae’s jewels. haha

There’s a lot of detail in Shaun’s choreo, and with all the back up dancers having their own thing as well, it’ll be hard to focus just on Tae Yang or filming the whole thing long shot….
yeah i kinda wish they would just keep the camera still so we can see the choreography, but we also need closeups of taeyang too so its kinda hard to decide. haha
i just think this choreography is too damn good and theres nothing the cameramen can do. this is definitely the most complex choreo that taeyang has gotten. so much stuff goin on. everyone else that is performing can’t even compare to taeyang.

Man!! if you guys watched the whole show,, all the other performances are jaw-dropping bad.. IT’s like watching a high school talent show…I am trying to be as less taeyang biased as possible, but the other perf.. were really bad. Except for se7en who was ok and BOa who was ok. But the rest was not good, even Shinee “Lucifer” was not good….BUt Taeyang’s concept, atmosphere, and choreo almost made him seem like a guest star.. He just can’t be in the same cate. as these artists.
Yeah…Taeyang on the backdrop of the rest of Kpop…he really stands out! Though some might argue that his new song is more “mainstream” his stages and performances are always so different than the rest. Truly a cut above.
Come on! Shinee is not that bad. Their choreography is unique also. YB performance is effing hot. The only thing I want to complain is his interaction with the audience. He was like enjoying/losing in his own world and barely looked at the camera. Oh happy to see so many crown lights.

BTW wtf is with the cardboard crowns in the hairbands of these girls? were are the oldschool crown flashlight joints and bandanas at first i thought they were mannequins till one moved.

Oh if your talking 1:48-1:49 about him missing a step I know what your talking about but I believe that’s part of the choreography. I kept rematching the other performances but I think it was intentional at first I was like what the but then the more I watched I found it was part of the routine.
The cardboard crowns are for Taeyang. During BB’s Stand Up (I think) promotions he wore a crown in most of the promotional pictures and I think in one mv. It’s kind of his signature.

Is it just me but do you see taeyang being innocent and sexy at the same time. The look he gave us right about the middle of the perf i just had a blood nose. I absolutely love watching these performances (as I do ALL of his performances but IBT especially)…..he’s just doing amazing with the choreo and vocals, the theatrical production value is top notch and the sets are just magnificent…….total love for IBT…I even catch myself singing along. Yes, the song is more “mainstream” than we’ve heard from him, but he’s done something to this mainstream pop sound by adding his own little R&B flair and his signature moves and I get a bit of him through these performances…..

This stage was perfect, vocals on point, choreo smooth (shaun u did good!!), and his interaction with the crowd (pointing his finger and staring with that death stare thingy LOL) LOVES, LOVES.

Okay, this performance is just hotness overload, awesome live vocals(he hit all the high notes and his voice didn’t quaver from all that dancing), the dance was on point, the crowd’s cheer help to lift up the mood, the set was really cool and the man himself was into the performance. Some of you know i criticize a lot, so saying this is a big deal to me LOL… so yeah, performance on FIYAH!!
Like Kay said, this song is more mainstream than his other songs but I really feel that through the performance and the music video, Taeyang is still not your typical Kpop yet. He still has his own thing going there.

I was mainly not feeling IBT coz it was mainstream and I have a bit of prejudice against it, but the live performance really made me like it.
I also appreciate the fact that he is singing most of it so the auto-tune parts are kept to a minimum.

I agree. This is definitely more mainstream for Taeyang, but it’s nothing like the other autotuned repetitive kpop stuff out right now. Being mainstream isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as long as you’re not selling out your own style, and I don’t believe Taeyang has done that.
Hm, I kinda like the camera work on Music Core better. Well, at least, the one camera that shot from the top. That one, I really liked, cuz I could see the beauty of some of the choreography from the top! But the camera work in Inki was very interactive and dynamic, which I liked too.
So it’s true that Taeyang tells the audience not the chant during the performance? I’ve heard that before.

Yeah most of the time YG peeps make live versions better despite having a pretty weak studio version.

There are so many parts of the choreo that I love! The beginning, when JiHye walks away, and YB kinda withers onto the floor, the crawl, gun gun gun, and those deathly stares.gahhh..hot!
