One of YB’s signature styles is the intensity in how he sings that gives a new feel to both songs. I feel that Yoo Jae Ha’s original is more melancholy and thoughtful, but YB’s interpretation in putting both songs together transforms it into a more positive message meant to console and cheer up.
YB’s warm relationship with fans shown time and time again is one reason why I continue to support him after all these years. I am constantly reminded of his concern, sincerity and affection in his interactions. I think he is an exceptionally gifted and talented guy, but giving comfort to fans is something I consider his superpower. Especially in difficult times, I really appreciate his extra effort to reach out and make us feel loved.
