SBS held their annual year end blowout and Taeyang was a solo performer for the first time since 2009. As if to make up for years of absence, SBS had him in 3 separate performances: for “Eyes, Nose, Lips” and in collaboration with Jeff Bernat for Jeff’s popular “Call You Mine” and with GDragon for their ongoing promotion for “Good Boy.” They also gave him an award for Best Male Solo.

Taeyang performed the forever-teased-but-yet-unreleased 1AM as a special stage on the December 29 broadcast of SBS’ Gayo Daejun and was later joined by GDragon on a remixed Ringa Linga and Bigbang’s Bad Boy.
The last time Taeyang was on a year-end special as a solo was back in 2009 for the SBS Gayo Daejun. Thank you! (This is different from the ones that were actually broadcast. Definitely worth watching! And re-watching… haha.)

Big Bang brought their signature style to the 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun with a rousing performance that had the crowd screaming. The boys had particular fun with a special shout out to absent YG Family member Psy with a Gangnam Style- Fantastic Baby mash-up. Playful, energetic, tongue-in-cheek humor and too cool for school swagger – it was definitely a Big Bang performance. (Fantastic Baby starts at 2:30s.)
