YG Family rocked Osaka’s Kyocera Dome over the April 12-13 weekend for their “YG Family : Power in Osaka ” concert and as expected, the highlights were the collaborations among different YG artists and the chance to sing each others’ songs. Apart from a set of Bigbang favorites, Taeyang also performed with Tablo (Tomorrow) and the Team B trainees from the WIN program (Ringa Linga.) A huge crowd favorite was Bigbang’s cover of 2NE1’s “I Love You.” Fancams below!

Taeyang’s been spending the past few months on Bigbang activities, notably Bigbang’s Japan Dome Tour and a series of fanmeetings in Japan, China and Southeast Asia. (Check out past coverage of these events on allthingstaeyang.) Solo-wise, he’s pretty much been performing the same set at all the events as he has since November last year, namely: Look Only At Me, I Need A Girl and Ringa Linga (and sometimes Superstar.) His March 22 set at the Simply K-pop festival in Shanghai was no different. The broadcast version of his performances from Arirang TV:

This is the full interview with Yoon Do Hyun from the recording session of Taeyang’s guest stint on Mnet’s MUST last December. Only a small part of this was included in the actual broadcast.
TY: Hi Everyone. I am Taeyang. Thanks for coming out today. Yoon Do Hyun-ssi should be here somewhere… Where are you?
YDH: I am here! Here! Wow! You look stunning! I almost lost my mind in admiration of you on the stage. I was like “wow…..” the whole time.
Taeyang performed the forever-teased-but-yet-unreleased 1AM as a special stage on the December 29 broadcast of SBS’ Gayo Daejun and was later joined by GDragon on a remixed Ringa Linga and Bigbang’s Bad Boy.
It’s been a crazy busy week for Taeyang. On the 5th weekend of Bigbang’s Japan Dome tour, he spent Dec. 19-21 at Tokyo Dome for 3 days of Big Bang concerts, followed by a performance at Family Mart’s “Music for All, All for One” festival on Dec. 22 at Yoyogi Stadium. He then flew to Shanghai on Dec. 23 for the fanmeeting/mini concert “Super Starry Christmas” along with G-Dragon and Seungri and then back to Korea for a guest stint at Psy’s “All Night Stand” concert on Dec. 24. Whew- 6 days of performances in 3 countries and still looking and sounding mighty fine. Praying that his health holds up!
Round 3 from the slew of press conference interviews during Ringa Linga’s launch. This is the full interview from Star News published on 131112 (other translated interviews from the same period here and here.) As with the rest, there is some overlap with other publications but some new bits as well.
