Big Bang released a compilation of photos from the Alive Tour in a BIGBANG SPECIAL PHOTOBOOK which will apparently be released in both in Korea and Japan. (The Korean version has not yet been released.) Photo scans of Taeyang from the Japan version are from URTHESUN. Thanks so much for sharing!
The DVD for the 2012 kickoff concert in Seoul for the Alive Tour is now available in both online and offline stores. (Check the Korea version (Region 1&3, with english subtitles) here on YesAsia, also available with poster.) The package also includes a photobook and an extra DVD with a “making of” segment and special multi-angle takes of each of the members for the Bad Boy 2nd encore.
There is also a 3 Disc Japan version (Region 2, no subtitles) with more tracks and special features (not available on the Korea version) which will be released on February 6. It also has a 200 page photobook.
ybpotato of Sol-mate was kind enough to share some Taeyang cuts from the DVD:
Big Bang capped off their successful Alive Tour with a 3 concert weekend at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium on January 25-27. The boys were obviously happy to be back on home ground and gave an energetic and emotional performance which was echoed right back with the love of a wildly enthusiastic audience.
It’s my first time to greet everyone through Star Column. In Big Bang’s Star Column, we will not introduce passionate and nice stage stories we’ve experienced while going around the world, but we’re going to share the backstage episodes that you would like to know about more. I thought over what to say at first. I will try telling the story like I’m writing on my diary. Everyone, please look forward to it ~
Through the 2012 world tour, we had many chances to visit all over the world. One of the memorable places to me is Peru! I think that this country is where I would never even have a chance to go without the world tour. I didn’t know much about Peru, so it drew my interest a lot even before I left.
Poor Taeyang suffered a (probably fatigue related) “nose-blood” (his words) during Big Bang’s Alive Tour concert at Wembley Arena in London on the evening of December 14. (I hear he may have had another one during rehearsal too.) Not that something like that could get him down, he more than made up for it by giving a special performance of Chris Brown’s ‘Don’t Judge Me.” Some fancams:
Big Bang is done with the ASEAN and American legs of its Alive Tour having completed performances in Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Anaheim, Newark and Lima . Reviews for the tour have been positive from both fans and the press – mostly lauding the show as fun, energetic and involving.
Taeyang had a few days free after Big Bang’s highly successful Alive Tour weekend in Anaheim, and he spent it out in the city with partner in crime GDragon, hitting up the La Brea shops and the Chrome Hearts atelier among other places. True to form, he headed straight for the Taeyang style accessories at Stampd and made some friends along the way.
