Update on the MAMAs: Taeyang is performing!

The MNET Asian Music Awards have finally confirmed that Taeyang is on its list of performers for the 2010 ceremony to be held on November 28, 2010 at the Venetian in Macau.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Mnet in Korea at 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm KST.   There is a good chance that a local station or cable network in your area might be broadcasting the show – check here for details.  The show will also be streamed online (7-10 pm KST) at the following sites:

Korea http://www.mnet.com
China http://www.sohu.com
Other http://www.allkpop.com

While we’ve been encouraging everyone to put in a vote for our boy (voting ended November 21, by the way), the most exciting part of the whole event will be his performance. I for one have been missing him like crazy (and will be cheering for him in front of the computer whether he wins or not. Which is about as close to officially crazy I can get for an awards show. )

To any of our ATY readers who is actually going, please cheer extra loud for us fans who won’t be able to make it there in person.  =)

  1. I’m excited for YB that he’s going to Macau and going to be performing in the Venetian. I hear it looks amazing. 🙂 I can’t wait to watch him perform, been missing him like crazy too!

  2. I have a question about the liv stream on mnet. Can ppl in America still tune in and watch it live on the day of the actual show? Or day before due to the time difference? Bc I know there’s a separate day in dec for Americans to watch it but I can’t wait that long

    1. The show will be streamed live on Nov 28, 7pm Korean Time. Use the time converter to get the time in your area. I think Americans will also be able to watch it live online at MNET, and certainly they can watch it on allkpop.

    1. Allkpop is probably the easiest site to navigate for an english speaker. They will have a prominent link on the main page for anyone who wants to watch it live. (check the time in your area using the time converter.) Streaming is really easy — no need for special software. Just tune in at the right time and follow the links and press play.

If you are having trouble watching, join us in the ATY chatbox when the show starts and we can help you out. We will probably have a chatparty going on with anyone watching the show live. 🙂
