- According to the YG Entertainment official press release today, TaeYang’s 2nd digital single is coming out on the 13th.

- Wedding Dress is co-composed by Teddy and TaeYang.

OMG, I am so excited for him and I can’t wait for wedding dress and his performance. But, I am also really scared and worried. I keep trying for forget about the fact that WUA didn’t do incredibly well on the charts especially when you look at how well Bom’s You and I is doing. And the fact that 2pm is coming back at the same time…aigoo. I have complete faith in YB but I don’t know about the public. I’m trying to stay positive and believe that wedding dress will be epic like everyone is saying. *tells herself to only think happy thoughts over and over again*
Also the japanese singer that YB recommended on that show today, shimizu shota, is truly amazing. I love how YB just loves true RnB. He reminds me of YB too, this shorty singing his heart out and who sounds better live than recorded just like YB. I am gonna listen to him while I prepare for the greatness that is taeyang and wedding dress.

i was thinking the same thing as well
for Taeyang to become no1 on music shows is very little cuz wedding dress is just a single therefore no album sell to back him up whereas 2pm got everything and we know how popular they are because of Jay. but whatever keep the faith, Taeyang will always be #1 in my heart

@arm143: i’ve had the same worries as you, but this is the way I look at it. I kinda feel like its deja vu….last year YB released ‘prayer’ first, and then ‘look only at me’. Look only at me topped the charts, while ‘prayer’ did not. Like it was said in the above statement, “Wedding Dress is a slow R&B song that has both popular appeal and artistic merit, much like Look Only at Me.” therefore, i think wedding dress will do much better tan WUA. i also rmr reading something about YB flat out saying that wedding dress has much more general appeal than WUA, and that more ppl can relate and enjoy it.
but at the same time, last year 2pm wasn’t as popular as they are now…so I am also a little worried…but having said that, I have a feeling wedding dress will appeal to a much larger korean audience, than WUA did…esp w/ the girlies

@arm143 : knowing about 2pm comeback didn’t make me worries.I thought our boy YB didn’t make his music for Toping the chart, but for “US” the listener.being no.1 on the chart just one of his way to spread his music.
And I think the pop of WUA maybe kinda like “Prayer”, Lets wait and see how awesomeness of our boy in wedding dress!
*cough* yb won awards on music shows over wonder girls last year during his look only at me promotions … and i guess there’s no doubting wonder girls popularity … LOL ! taeyang is on par if not ahead of 2pm if you ask me.

@chalet+everyone: the album is most likely going to be out next year. I’m not sure what YG is doing with this whole digital single release stuff, I personally, would like a proper promotional period for Taeyang….this doesn’t I’m not happy with Wedding Dress release, but I don’t know why YG can’t be more concrete in his plans and take it a little more seriously than I feel he is….
and yes, to me, Taeyang is the diamond….sadly, YG’s too preoccupied with other things to pay more attention to it. I wonder if Taeyang really has any say with all of this, is he happy? is he apathetic?

Like everyone i’m also worried YB won’t get no.1 even thought he deserves it. I love 2PM just as much as Big Bang now..but i have to say after all the hype for the new album, i didnt think it was that great. I found the Heartbeat song a bit weird for now.
Anyways I hope Taeyang does well..with all the other groups promoting and comebacks I am scared..but he did it before and he can do it again + he’s always no.1 in our hearts

I’m not worried about 2PM. aren’t Hottests (their fanclub) still boycotting JYP to try to get Jay back?(which i don’t believe will work)
I did see comments about people not liking 2PM’s album too much. Unless Jay comes back, i wouldn’t be worried. And even if Jay does come back, YB is still a great singer and performer so i’m sure YB will do well
